Grilling

Grill the steak to your desired doneness: for rare (120–125°F), cook for 3–4 minutes per side; for medium (135°F), cook for 5–6 minutes per side; and for well done (160°F), cook for 7–8 minutes per side. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Oven

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Sear the steak in a hot oven-safe pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes per side, then transfer the pan to the oven. Cook for 4–5 minutes for rare, 6–7 minutes for medium, and 9–10 minutes for well done. Use a meat thermometer to confirm the internal temperature. Rest the steak for 5 minutes before serving.

Pan Sear

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side for rare, 5–6 minutes per side for medium, and 7–8 minutes per side for well done. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness. Allow the steak to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
