Take the steak out of the fridge at least 30-45 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.

Grilling

Start by preheating your grill to 450°F - 500°F (Medium-High Heat). Once the grill is hot, place the steak on the grates and cook based on your preferred doneness. For rare, grill the steak for 3-4 minutes per side. For medium, grill for 5-6 minutes per side. For well-done, grill for 7-8 minutes per side. After grilling, let the steak rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute before serving.

Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the steak on a baking sheet and roast it for 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the steak. For rare, aim for 8-10 minutes; for medium, 12-14 minutes; and for well done, 16-18 minutes. Halfway through cooking, flip the steak for even cooking. Once done, remove the steak from the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving to ensure it stays juicy.

Pan Sear

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add the steak and sear for 3-4 minutes per side for rare, 5-6 minutes per side for medium, and 7-8 minutes per side for well done. Once seared to your preferred doneness, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. This resting period allows the juices to settle and enhances the flavor and tenderness of the steak.
